Creditreform (UK) Ltd anyone?

Hi All
Does anyone know anything at all about a company called Creditreform (UK) Ltd?
I have searched Google but no info comes up on them, other than their own website and the services they offer to companies to collect their debts (most unusual for a DCA in my opinion, there is a huge amount on Forums etc. for all other DCAs I've searched for in the past)
I ask because for the past 4 years I have been paying them a token payment of £1 every month for a debt originally with a supplier (I lost my business, as a sole trader, which is why I am in a debt pickle
) The supplier's Solicitor issued a statutory demand, which I responded to with my income and expenditure and proposed payment plan, which started with a token £1 and was then due to increase as my circumstances improved. Creditreform UK Ltd responded to say that they owned the debt and would accept my £1 payment.
Within three months, I increased my monthly offer but never heard anything back from them, so I just kept paying the £1 payments. I have had no correspondence from them in all this time, no statements or demands or anything. They are not on my Credit Report.
I am torn whether to contact them to get an up to date statement from them and upping my monthly payments or to test the water by stopping the payments and see if they bother to contact me then!
I don't want to wake the sleeping dog as it were but at the same time, I don't want to be paying money to a company who might not be entitled to it in the first place!
So I was trying to get some scope on what they are like as a company...but all in vain so far.
Anyone? :A

They do seem to exist, as the above post shows. I would continue paying token payments of £1 rather than rock the boat by contacting them or stopping payemnt. Who knows however what might happen, they seem a very samll company with few staff or assets.0

Thanks UsetheFORCE
I've managed to get the general info of who they are and what they do but there doesn't seem to be anything from people who have debts with them, no accounts of how they are to deal with etc. They seem to have been going for a long time, I was hoping that there might be someone out there who has had dealings with them from a debtors point of view?Pround to be dealing with my debts! Thanks harrys dad,
I definitely don't want to rock the boat, I just find it so strange that I've had no contact from them in 4 years...Pround to be dealing with my debts! DFW Nerd # 1201
