I've seen some articles by him on msn too - used to love the programme though, partly cos of the way he used to illustrate the debt to people using their biggest vice (I remember one episode in the pub when the table kept filling up and up with pints of beer - each one represented £100 or something!)Total Debt 13th Sept 2006 (exc student loan): £6240.06

There was one where he threatened to set fire to a pile of £20 notes to show people how much theywere spending on smoking! That wasn't long before I gave up actually!"People who "do things" exceed my endurance,

Alvin Hall - Had my LBM forced upon me then read his book. great tips. Partily as a result of his advice I found this site and really started hammering away at the debts.

I think Alvin and Martin are the same person. You never see them together..."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
