Also, don't forget that if any of your customers over those years were VAT registered businesses, you could raise a back-dated VAT invoice to them, which they should pay because it costs them nothing if they can claim it back on their VAT return.
But, please, get a decent accountant to help you sort this out.0 -
thanks again all, as ive said before im no expert, will take all advice on board. unfortunately getting new accountant is one i cant do, although he seems to be steppingup to the mark now, hes fighting the case & got his offerr down to £4k, they have said theywill review if i send in all bills and banks states. well i know ive done no fiddling so not worried. this vat business goes straight over my head. grrrrrr will fill u in when i get another reply. and we are sole trader ANTONIC0
