Lidl - 6 bottles of cab sauv for £16

Popped in to Lidl today to buy some juggling stick - don't ask (OK, for my DD birthday next week) and noticed they had South African Cabernet Sauviagn for £4 a bottle, but buy 4 get 2 free. So that's 6 bottles for £16. I've no idea how good the wine is.

It's called Spring Creek and for £16 for 6 bottles you just cant go wrong, I bought 2 cases the other day and it's going down well, hic!!Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm WELSH. .0

Agreed....it's excellent at the price. Full bodied fruity South African.....none left at my Lidl or I would buy another case (or two)0

I used to think like that, but that was a long time ago. Probably a good idea you keep away from the place so the rest of us can save the bargains for ourselves. I love the whole Lidl shopping experience.0 -
