My oven smells like curry!

I reheated a takeaway in my oven last night and ate a plateful but left the other half in there overnight and now the oven smells like Indian food.

I love curry personally but I don't want everything I cook to taste and smell like it.:p

Best way to clean/get rid of a strong odour in an oven?:)

    All I have found online is put orange peels in there for 10 mins?

    I would leave the oven door open and open the window for a few hours.

    After that I was going to suggest putting a bowl of bicarb in with the door closed overnight

    Maybe put some lemon juice in an oven-proof dish and have it on low for a while. You zap lemon juice (or a lemon) in the microwave to deodourise, so same principle. Bicarb overnight may help too, as suggested.
