I didn't have to return anything and anything i did get that was unsuitable i sold at profit on ebay, infact i bought quite a lot on there purely for that reason....telling you my secrets now
those air zooms i bought a few pairs of those a couple of years ago paid £9 from bargain crazy....sold them eventually but didn't realise they were tennis shoes, had I known I would've sold them appropriately....they also had the nike courts for about same price in black about 5 months ago...nothing on there now as they are gonna do a big re-launch soon, worth watching...

To add....I think what you said earlier is best, go see what you really want then buy on-line.....I buy on-line all the time....kitekat mentions m&m direct

Another place to try is pwp.com - a racket sports specialist shop. Used to live near one - excellent range of stuff including k-swiss - best way to get a good deal is to go to their mega deals section (end of lines) where they often have shoes with £20-£30 off.
