bryan carter full and final question

Hi,
just a quickie, i'm dealing with bryan carter on an issue with EE and an old t mobile account. ( now in a state with a notice of warrant of execution )
Bryan carter told me they would suspend the warrant for 30 days but they didnt and we had the court officer round, luckily he was a very understanding guy.
This is now on hold for 30 days and i have applied for a N245 form, HOWEVER
I have been offered some money from a relative to clear this as she is worried about the grandchildren and potential bailiffs etc, I have offered them £280 f&f of a £522 debt ( explain original debt: £463.27 plus £70 for warrant and extra £2.50 warrant fee )
They explained to me that £406.71 is the lowest possible amount that the client ( EE ) will accept - £280 is borrowed on the basis it is only for a f&f not part payment
MY QUESTION: is it worth me contacting EE and trying to make a F&F settlement with them directly or will they just say Bryan carter are appointed in this matter and that only we can deal with them????
