That works out to about 16 or 17 patients a day, if each one goes every 6 months or so? Or do all 9000 turn up at once :eek:

Actually it was 9000 patients between two dentists. The average nhs dentist has around 3000 patients and will see 35 to 40 people a day .

In my NHS days the most people I ever saw in a day was 75 when covering for a colleague who was off ill with stress. It's why I mostly work privately now. It's no more money but 20 to 25 people a day for whom I can do more than patch them up and send them on their way.
