Hi MSE'rs
I usually lurk elsewhere on the Forums but am trying to gather info on private gastric bypass surgery. So apologise if its been on before and I missed it.
If anyone has had this and is willing to share tips, info and experiences, I would be grateful.
Yours Hopefully

Hi OOObedoo
I hope you dont mind me asking but, did you and your friend have the surgery on the NHS or go private?
Have you felt well since you had it?
You said you had "no restriction" with the band, but have lost a stone. How long did that take and how does it work if you have no restriction?
I know very little about these ops but am thinking one of them might help me deal with my diabetes which is out of control due to my overeating and obesity.
Trying to learn more before talking to my GP.:A Goddess :A0 -
Hiya, I self funded as I was not 'big enough' my bmi was 42 but they are so funny about it, my friend was on the nhs, it was because of his diabetes he had it done and I am sure he no longer has diabetes.
The website I go on is https://www.wls.org.uk and it has so much info, good luck, let me know how it goes xOh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY0
