Self Employed and Fixed Rate ending soon

I hope someone can advice me please. I am on a fixed rate mortage that ends soon. During the terms of the fixed rate I became self employed. I've now been doing this for 8 months and my income is far greater than it was when I initially took out the fixed rate. When the fixed rate deal ends I would like to switch to another fixed rate deal with the same lender rather than shift on to the SVR. Is this possible or due to being self employed now rather than employed will I end up having to pay the SVR? Thanks in advance for any help provided!

You would need to speak to the lender as they have different criteria.
Moving to a new lender would be out of the question for the next 18 months or so, but existing lenders do sometimes have products available. Either way, at least you have the mortgage. If you were looking to purchase now it would be very difficult/impossible... every cloud and all that.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
