Adwear From Clicking This Comp

Hello There,
Over the last few weeks I click on comps & some have adwear attached to the comp thread.
This one now has it:
Win a pair of Bubble Shooz (twitter)
I can get rid of it by running superantispyweare but as you can imagine it is really, really annoying as once on my computer it randomly brings boxes up with ads
I have good security on my computer but it still breaks through.

suspect its not the comps but an existing infection
start a thread on the techie part of the forum and ask for advice in identifying and removing it for goodEx forum ambassador

Yes I have posted on the Tech section asking for help as it's not shifting even with a scan of superantispywear this time.
I have also PMed MSE Debs as the virus attached to some comps is not on, out of all the forums to be on you would think MSE would be safe!

I had the same thing on my laptop last week, not from the page you mention though. I think mine was picked up from a Nescafe Dolce Gusto survey.
Every page I went into, including forums was showing links to spammy ads and web pages were bringing up other ads.
Hubby got rid of it for me by running Spybot Search & Destroy. Also noted in my programmes a "game" programme had been installed which I never installed as I don't play games. It was installed at the time I was attempting to do this survey. The best things in life are free.....0 -
Thank You For This I knew it was coming from this site as my laptop was cleaned.
I found one think that was odd as I have no idea where it came from as I have not downloaded it, a search companion?
I have no idea what that is so got rid of it & will see if that stops it
