Transfer mortgage offer to another property

Just had formal mortgage offer from Nationwide. Unfortunately our purchase is looking shaky. Just wondering if in theory we can transfer the offer to another property and then presumably just pay for a fresh valuation for mortgage purposes? Or would we have to start from scratch and reapply plus have more credit checks made?

    Hi there

What you are asking is indeed possible - just contact the mortgage company to arrange.

    Best wishes

its common for sales to fall through - lenders know that
    its unfortunate - but yes
obviously, if you change even a £1 onthe asking monies, chances are lender will ask to redo certain things and new docs
