Sounds like they haven't bothered to stop interest and are adding their own (extortionate) fees, so even though you're paying towards the debt, the money you pay is getting swallowed up by these charges.

You should seriously consider moving your finances to CCCS or Payplan... they don't charge and will still do all the hard work for you - you just need a copy of your income/expenditure and the account details. If you have this info, the process will be very quick.

Are you tied into the GP agreement? Why did you go with them in the first place?

    Hi bankh8er,

I have had lots of dealings with people with Gregory Pennington as part of my job and I always advise them to come out of the agreement that they have as they charge you stupid fees for something that you can do yourself.
Just give your credits a call and ask how much they would be willing to accept a month to your accounts, whether they are prepared to stop any interest or charges going onto your account and can you have a copy of this agreement in writing. More often than not the companies will ask you to write into them to confirm everything at your end but this way you are just doing the job that Gregory Pennington charges you for.
If you don't want to manage it yourself speak with the cccs. This is a free organisation that will be able to give you advice and they have a website if youjust type it into google. Hope this helps. Laura
