My other half bought a box of this and no one likes it. I tried it this morning myself and an hour later I'm starving and craving chocolate bars which is not good.
I've done a forum search and found the weetabix cake and brownie recipes but does anyone have any savoury uses for them? We are not big on cakes etc here.
Otherwise it's crush them up for the birds I guess. I wonder if they will eat them?

I just threw ours out in the end when I got sick of looking at the box in the cupboard......not much help, sorry!0

I would try crushing them up and adding them to a thick pancake batter (scotch pancake size) and serve with a fry up. (I like to add oatmeal/crushed oat cakes etc like this.)0

I would use it to mop up spillages before promptly chucking in the bin.
Vile stuff.0 -
I tried some Oatiflakes and they were truly awful.
To be honest, if I cut up the box into flake shaped pieces it'd taste better than the contents!Stompa0 -
You could use them like breadcrumbs on top of shepherd's pie or similar.
Mix them in with some cheese and throw them over the top.
Alternatively send them to me, I really like them!0 -

Me too, I love it. Actually I have it in the morning for breakfast with yogurt, honey and some nuts and it tastes lovely. Surprisingly, 2 of them keep me going for at least 2 and half hours similar to the full english breakfast I would have earlier

We didn't like these either. Luckily the dog does so am giving one to him for a treat now and again - he does make a mess with them though.0

I love them, but only the little ones, with Raisens and apple.
They DO make your jaw ache after chewing them though!!!!!Lightbulb Moment - May 2008HSBC overdraft - [strike]£1200[/strike] GONE!!!
