starting DMP, and panicking!

Hi,
Hoping that by writing my own diary, i will manage better with clearing my debt!
I'm just organising a DMP, and was meant to be starting in June, but will now be starting in July. My worry now is that the house i am renting may be either put up for sale relatively soon or the owner may need the house back for themselves.
I had originally though that this was a long term let, but they have their own issues now.
I suppose that after finally getting my head around the fact that i am about to totally trash my credit rating, i now have the worry of how to rent a new house while on a DMP.
I don't know for sure yet that i will have to move, but it's a definite possibility.
Anyway, I have debts of nearly 23k, from pure overspending and stupidity. I will be paying £530 per month into my DMP and aim to be debt free by December 2016, and to be buying my own house by the time i turn 40 (2020)

Hope it goes well with your DMP - I paid off my debts using CCCS some years ago and it was the best thing I'd ever done.
If you are concerned about moving there are lots of landlords on the house renting forum who will be able to advise you about renting whilst on a DMP.
Meanwhile I hope it doesn't come to that and you can stay where you are until you can buy your own property.
Best wishesAiming to get healthy in 2014.0
