Lip gloss!

Hello ladies (er I should probably include men there too maybe?!)

Lip gloss. Love it. Shiny and ace.

However, despite trying a few brands, one quick coffee and its all gone! I can't keep buying more and more trying to find one that will stick-anyone know of one that will go on, look good and stay put?!

  • I love lip gloss too but I've yet to find one that sticks. I've started using a lip pencil/crayon all over, doing a serious bit of blotting, then applying Vaseline. If you can get a crayon/pencil with good staying power, you'll only need to reapply vaseline.

    Would that work?

Have you tried Lip butters? Revlon do some that give color payoff like a lipstick, moisturise like a balm and give a glossy look like a gloss.

Rimmel have also got a gloss/lipstick hybrid called Apocalips which are supposedly quite good.

No lip gloss will stay after you eat or drink and usually wears off anyway within a few hours. Long wearing lipstick is the only thing which wear longer.

I tend to put a base on first - at the moment I'm using one of the lush lipbalms with the slightly waxy texture. I find that makes it last much longer and stay on better, but still is never going to last well through eating and drinking.
