Claim 24 Penstemon 'Tubular Bells’ mixed plug plants. Ringing out with masses of bright colour over an extended period, from early summer until the start of autumn. An array of stunning shades; pinks and reds with contrasting throats, the trumpet shaped flowers perch on spires above leafy green foliage which creates a bushy habit on strong upright stems. Height 40cm.
Hope this information helps!

They say they flower from early summer but they are sending out plug plants in June. Will it be next year before they flower?0

Hello,
Looked in my Gardening News Weekly magazine for more information:
"Beautiful, long flowering easy to grow hardy perennials for non-stop colour from May to November. Not fussy on soil conditions in sun or part shade. Oblivious to drought and rain."
I reckon if you protect them from frost or take the patio tubs in, the should come back again to flower the next year and the year after etc.
Fingers crossed for some nice weather and we should have plenty of time for flowers.
Hope this helps.0 -
Yes, hardy perennials mean they come back again but it's just this first year I'm wondering about. I bought lupins from one of their offers 2 years ago but they didn't flower till last year.
Have ordered anyway. Might still have to buy some bedding plants to cover this year but will save me in the future.0
