Married but mortgage application in sole name?

The primary issue is around the deposit. If a lender gets into the detail of the deposit and with bank statements, is it feasible for your Husband to save this amount of money and live without your financial contribution?
The other consideration is they are likely to see you both on the electoral roll, utilities, Council Tax etc. so lender selection would be crucial as not all lenders go into the same level of detail.
It would be much better advice if you can achieve a joint mortgage for obvious reasons, so would explore this first and have a broker you trust ensure if not everything is declared and sure the case will progress to completion and not just mortgage offer.I am a Mortgage Broker
