Total CVs on Total Jobs - Watch Out!

I wish I'd read the earlier posts on here before enthusiastically handing over £159 for the Gold CV writing package having been told by Total CV's free review that my CV was rubbish.
It's a complete scam.
I'm just posting this to warn others not make the same mistake. When job hunting for the first time in a while I was feeling vulnerable and wanted the reassurance that my CV was great. Total CVs prey on these feelings, take your money, and don't look back.
Without doubt whatever you can put together yourself will be 100% better than the drivel Total CVs came up with.
My profile was flowery adjective laden sentences with nothing specific about me in it. There were grammar errors all over, switching from first person to third person. Descriptions of marketing skills were inaccurate... I could go on.
I'm now in a dispute with Total CVs who refuse to give me back my money, offering only a 25% refund, taking days to come back to my complaint and making the whole experience really nasty.
Does anyone know if there is an Ombudsman or Watchdog I can go to?

I had a free CV review from the CV Site because my CV is on Reed. What a load of rubbish. It was so general that I could have googled and found the same information.
I think it is just to get your money. If your CV was perfect they would still say it needed changed.0 -
