Heavy duty curtain track

I want to replace the existing curtain pole with a heavy duty curtain track. Any suggestions as to which one to buy? The total width I need will be more than ten feet so it will have to be supported in several places. Maybe one of those ones you open and close with a cord on one side might be good. The curtains are heavy and have bent the existing pole.

I've just bought a Swish Supreme track to fit a 16' wide window for my heavy velvet curtains. Swish also do the Deluxe range for heavy curtains, but I don't think you get the corded option with that model.

The beauty of buying a branded track is that you will always be able to get spares or gliders for it, no matter how many years pass.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Thank you so much for your post. I went to John Lewis yesterday and took a look at their tracks. I agree that would be best to go for a branded name and Swish seem to be a popular one. On reflection, I might forget about getting a corded one as my grandchildren are regular visitors.

I will look online at what Swish have to offer, thanks again.
