Hi.
I have a question about budgeting, when on an abnormal payment schedule, although I am sure I can guess the solution.
I am a student and my husband is unemployed. This means we get money coming in weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and then student loans in Oct/Jan/Apr.
Last year was my first year as a full time student although the lump sum 3 times a year was fantastic, in terms of buying expensive items outright, I kept finding we were struggling with a month (at least) to go until next loans date. However, we did manage to replace our car and my son's broken laptop, and buy bunk beds for my youngest two.
so in some respects it has been great, in others it has been a recipe for disaster. Splurge then skint!
Next year I am hoping to make it work a bit better, so we aren't having to borrow for food within weeks of getting paid.
Help Please :-)

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

I forgot to add that I need to get on top of this as I have a few extra debts catching me u. I want to make repayment plans with them but am wary of not being able to keep up the payments by the end of the term. Nevermind all over summer, when we have to last 6mths before loan payments.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Maybe complete and SOA and paste into the thread but edit the title to say something like SOA included.0
