What can anyone tell me about this company? I had a text message from them today. A quick google tells me they are debt recovery but I'd be surprised if any of my debts have been sold off so quickly :eek:
LBM.....sometime in 2013 £27,056. 10 creditors
June 20.....£7,587.....3 creditors left 72% paid
£26,200 on interest only part of mortgage (July 16)...will chip away £17,103
£49,200 repayment mortgage ( July 16) £37,764

Trading name of Gothia I think.

2 out of 9 of mine were sold on after 9 months.
My Barclays one was "about to be sold on" according to them, just before I paid it off, they rang me to see if I could do a full and final coincidentally when I was in a position to do it.
The other 6 were still with original creditors but some were managed by either in house or external collectors.

Redcastle were acting for one of my creditors and the debt wasn't sold on as they passed it back when they realised they weren't getting anywhere with me. I amused myself on an almost daily basis with them - I felt a bit lonely when they stopped! Still upset they never invited me to the Xmas party.
It would probably be best to write back when you have a letter asking them to only contact you in writing as they can be a bit persistent.
