Hello everyone,
I'm asking this on behalf of a friend who is planning on taking a job in ROI. The salary is Euro 25k, this is currently £21,129 today.
Does anyone know what the take home pay would be after tax please?
Many thanks in advance

Thanks citricsquid
That's a lot more than I thought. Are there any other mandatory deductions from salary I wonder?

I was surprised too at how low the taxation is, according to the Wikipedia article "Taxation in the Republic of Ireland" ROI is great for low earners: "...little or no income tax paid by low earners and a high rate applied to top earners."0
