If my memory serves me right, Jean Greenhow was the main contributer of patterns to Woman's Weekly magazine.
I know our local library has craft/dolls books by Jean Greenhow so it might be worth looking/asking at your local library. If they don't have any, they can order them in for you.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I've seen Jean Greenhow knitting pattern books on ebay. My kids had several of these knitted toys including the scarecrow.... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

Woman's Weekly has a regular column called 'Reader to Reader', you could ask them about it.
Copied from the mag:-
"Write to: Reader to Reader, Features Dept, Woman's Weekly, IPC Media Ltd, The Blue Fin Building, 110 Southwark Street, London SE1 0SU, or e-mail WomansWeeklyPostbag@ipcmedia.com. Whenever possible, please give a phone number. You can also text WWREADER followed by a space and your comments to 86611. (Maximum 160 characters. Texts cost 25p plus standard network charges.)"
Hope you find your pattern.Proud to have dealt with our debt. DFW Nerd 1474

I was sure that I had this pattern, I made lots of those ragdolls many years ago. Sorry but I can't find it. I do have an old Prima craft magazine that has a ragdoll in and you are welcome to have it. PM me if you want it and I will send it to you.0

I think my mum made me one of these and I do have some patterns of hers so I will have a look and see if I can locate it.
Have you done a general check in Google? You never know your luck!0 -
I too had a rag doll that my Mum made from a Woman's weekly pattern in 1974 and much later on I lost the doll. I called Woman's Weekly and spoke with someone - perhaps in back issues. I described what the pattern looked like. One week later, they sent me the pattern - they are incredibly helpful - it might be worth getting in touch with them. I think I had to follow it up with a letter to confirm the request, but not sure. I am hoping to make the pattern just like you for my little girl!
Good luck0 -
The newspaper library in Colindale, London has copies of all back issue magazines and newspapers. I see you are in Wales but maybe you know someone living up in London? Hope you manage to find the one you want - good luck!0
