We were also worried about this. I had a couple of missed payments from when things were bad about a year ago. We only went to see an advisor jsut to see what they said - we had already settled on the fact that we would likely need a flat. However we got a very pleasant surprise when they agreed to lend 175k!!! :shocked:
So for us we were fine, but I'm sure it depends on the circumstances.
