Hi all lm trying to sort my life out been on Experian found out l have afew debts how do l go about clearing them ? Experian not that easy to work out, do l just contact the debt to the address its for ?

Experian normally have a list of addresses for anyone you have an account with on your record. Would suggest you just google them to be fair. Are you in a position to pay off in full or are you wanting to agree some sort of payment plan with these companies?An opinion is just that..... An opinion0

Just been looking again so l just contact them and pay l want to pay in full. I know is sounds bad but can you knock them down if you pay it off in full ? All l owe are from my ex wife l didn't know they where there. But l want to get a mortgage so want to clean everything up

If they are now owned by debt collection agency then likely you can settle for less.
What's the default dates?
Who owns each debts? Usually the company who updated the record on your credit report.
When were the debts taken out?
When did you last pay them?
All useful to advise if you can likely settle for less.:beer:0
