OMG! £27.00 for a pair of socks !!!

Postie bought my goodie bag today ( really impressed as I only emailed my address on Monday evening!)
Here are the contents and the prices I have found for them online:
St Tropez complete tanning system = £72.50 :eek:
Tigi haircare products = £32.00 :eek:
2 x Jane Austen DVD's = £27.00
1 pair of cashmere socks = £27.00 :eek:
total value £158.50:j

I'm in shock, are there really people out there willing to pay £72.50 for a fake tan, £13.45 for hair conditioner or £27.00 for 1 pair of socks!
Hmmm, actually I'm not sure what to do with the socks, I don't think I'd feel comfortable wearing them (too scared I'd make a hole in them or something) and I'm certainly not giving them away as a pressie:rotfl:

It always amazes me what some people will pay for things.

Maybe you could ebay them and spend the money on lots of normal socks!

I've never sold anything on ebay before, is it pretty easy to do?
If I'm going to start winning stuff like this then I may well have to look into it!

I don't find it too difficult. There's probably a 'how to start selling on ebay' thread here somewhere on the ebay board which would be a good place to start.
