money advice

Options
My mam wants to pay for me to go on holiday as I don't have much money & am trying to pay off quite a lot of debt.

My worry is, if she books a holiday will a credit check be done on me. As this would indicate to the companies that I have debts with that I have money to pay for a holiday, but I don't.

She'll just have to give her card details as with any other purchase.

Unless she is taking our credit in your name, why would you be credit checked? What credit will you be taking or why do they need to check your id? Only possibility is that if she takes out credit and is linked financially via a product with you.

I think you need probably not worry - however it may be good for you to get some basic financial training so you understand how things work.
  • Credit check to book a holiday? What on earth for? Unless she is taking out finance using your name, then you have nothing to worry about. And if your mom does take out finance, what's that got to do with a credit check on you??
An opinion is just that..... An opinion
