Hi all, hope you are well :j
I have received letters from Barclaycard for 2 accounts (1 previously Egg) in DMP now self managed which is going very well so far
They have informed me payment plan agreed will end 12th June, so my question(s) is - do I just write to them and advise circumstances are the same and will continue paying same as before. This is true as I did not receive pay rise this year and outgoings still same. Also does anyone know or have a template letter I can send or do I just amend the "make a payment offer to creditor" letter from national debtline site?
Would I have to provide an income & expenditure to them, which I am reluctant to do mainly because no change and can't be arsed :rotfl:
Thanking you all in advance

i got the same letter and it also asked to give them details of my current financial situation ... ( but ddin't bother doing this ))
i just phoned them up the other day and said my circumstances were still the same cost of living etc etc had went up ..
.. but they said id have to pay another £3 a month on top of what i was paying ( i was expecting double plus interest re started lol )
but for the first time ever they were very nice about it and said if i couldnt affoard it they would put it back down to what i was paying and not to stress about my account they were there to help ...could not believed it after the hassle last time0 -

Yes.
Or something like the review letter here --> http://mymoney.nedcab.org.uk/moneyadvice/documents/dmp/Self%20Help%20DMP.docFree/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

thank you both,
I would rather have it in writing, so might phone and follow up with letter. Could probably afford a small rise but am reluctant as they are charging me 3% interest each month after freezing it for 6 months and refused to do so again.:mad:Rock Bottom - Aug 2011

I have this periodically with different debt collectors - usually every six months!! lol :rotfl:
I just say that with the recession on - not had payrise for xxx years and with increased gas/electric/council tax was considering asking for a reduction in said monthly payment - that usually prompts them into saying ok - fine - carry on as you are! They don't want you to reduce your payments so will usually leave you alone for the next six months.
You don't have to do a statement of affairs - any letters that are sent, I usually file and carry on with the usual payment and invariably they write thanking me for my payment and set a new agreed amount of what I was paying anyway!!
Try as they might they can't force you to pay more so they might as well be grateful for what they do get.
SwampyExpect the worst, hope for the best, and take what comes!!:o0
