My First Tesco On Line Shop!!

I have received the e-mail for £15 off a £50 spend, so taking the plunge and going to do my first on line shop.

Can anyone give me any tips -

Can I get free delivery
Can I use more than one code
Is it possible to start shopping then save it and come back to it later?

Most importantly - Is the £50 spend before or after the BOGOF offers have come off?

Thanks

You cant get free delivery as you are using the £15 code. Delivery will be from £3.99-£5.99. It is possible to start shopping and then go back to it but you must place your order and then go back to edit it (make sure you remeber to edit it if you want more things)

As it's your first online shop with Tesco.com you can get extra cashback from www.quidco.com (as well as the discount code you use at Tesco). You will get an extra £5 cashback from Quidco as well. ;)

This is a once only offer though - valid only for your first Tesco.com shop.
  • I had that code sent to me as well( XXJXWV ) but used it before the discounts were taken off with no problems

The total guide price is £54.75*. This does not include any savings from Multisave or Internet Exclusive promotions. These extra deductions will be made when your order is delivered.

    £54.75
    less bogof deals roughly £24 = £30.75
less £15 discount code = £15.75 which includes the delivery charge a075.gif

    Hi All
I'm also thinking about doing my first on-line shop, one thing thats confusing me, when the discount says '£15 off a £50 shop' does that include the delivery charge too?

For example if I spend £45 on shopping and £5.99 delivery charge, will this take me over the £50 minimum spend for the discount to kick in, or is the delivery charge treated as something separate ?
    Cheers

It doesn't include the delivery charge.
One thing to be wary of is that if you carefully exactly £50.00 of shopping in order to get the discount, and then one or more items are out of stock, or they have to give you a smaller piece of cheese than you wanted, then you will go below £50 and not get the discount.
Apparently some people have challenged customer services about this and had the discount retrospectively applied, but I wouldn't count on it.

I've just done my first tesco online shop using the £15 off voucher. It came to £56 inc delivery (£41 with voucher) + I got a few BOGOF's too. Hopefully it gets delivered ok and nothing is out of stock to make the discount not apply....... Oh and this is my first post on here too!! :T

well done mate i love a bargain.
why not try asda next if they deliever in your area..there's a few £10 off £50 spend codes going around. IMO (and I am a MAD bargain hunter), Asda do much better deals and are cheaper. Often, their own brand products are better quality too.
