Roof Tile....

HI,

I am trying to track down somewhere that I can get a replacement for a damaged roof tile.

I believe that the Northstone equivalent is called "Villa" and is here. Other manufacturers names are unknown at present.

I have tried the following:

JP Corry
Peter Woods (Rosetta)
Ray Grahams
Carryduff Building Supplies
The builders merchants close to me in Saintfield
Haladaine and Fisher

Any suggestions for sourcing half a dozen of these?
Regards, Robin.

This crowd in Lurgan sourced an unusual roof tile for me. Very straight people to deal with too. http://wjroofing-lurgan.co.uk/

I think the secret is to use a roofer rather than a builders merchant.

Try Capco just off the Boucher Road. They are a roofing supplier & have a large selection of slates and roof tiles.
If you turn off Boucher Road as if you are going to B&Q and take the first road on the right it's along there.

Can I buy directly from them as a member of public? Thinking I should try and get about 6 now for the future.....

Try an architectural salvage yard, i needed roof tiles before christmas my roofer got them from a salvage yard because the builders merchants didn't stock them anymore.

Can you point me in the direction of these yards in Co. Down?
