Some Credit File Clean-Up Queries

Hello,
I filed for bankruptcy on 20 July 2011 and was discharged on 20 July 2012. A couple of errors still remain on my credit file and I wondered if somebody who has experience with the particular type of situation could advise.
1. Cahoot Current Account
Showing settlement date as 19/9/12. When I requested that they update it, they said "This account shows a default date of 20/07/2011 as per your bankruptcy, this is when the six years is calculated from. The satisfaction date has no bearing on this and is correctly recorded, as such, no changes are required." The clean-up thread clearly states that the settlement date must be changed. Who is correct? Is it a wording problem?
2. Barclaycard & TTI
Showing default date as 1/8/11. When I requested that they update it, they said "no amendment is required as the debt was sold to TTI Financial Ltd on 06/09/11." TTI Financial Ltd have the same default date, which I asked them to amend, but they only amended the settlement date. They also say "the only entry by Barclaycard is the record to show that the debt is satisfied as sold", which is utter nonsense, because it marks it as a defaulted account!
Was it even legal for Barclaycard to sell a debt after I filed for bankruptcy? It seems absurd that there should be two separate defaults listed for the same debt.
Thank you for checking in

1) They are wrong that they shouldn't have to change the settlement date. But they are right that it doesn't really matter, as the entry will come off 6 years from the default date regardless. So technically wrong, but debatable whether worth arguing the toss.
2) Is this on Experian? If it is a genuinely duplicated default then it is wrong, and the original should have been removed.
If the original now says somthing like "DEBT ASSIGNED CAIS MEMBER", then it's OK as no-one apart from you now sees the original. It's just left there for your info.
Default date is wrong as you know in either case. They have no excuse for not changing that.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
