A mincer, liquidiser and slow-speed slicer and shredder are my most used attachments.:happylove0

Hi TokyoJoe,
I hope you enjoy your new kenwood.
Have a look in The Complete Kenwood Chef Collection where there quite a few threads on kenwood attachments that might help.

I think that is the Major that I have (sorry, too lazy to go and peer at its undercarriage) and if so then yes. Provided it works of course!
Be prepared for a bit of a dusty smell from the motor at first as it probably hasn't been used in a while.0 -
Thanks guy's for all the useful posts. I am now the proud owner of a KM005 .
If I could ask a couple of further questions.
Apart from the attachments that come as standard what would you recommend as an additional must have attachment ?
The machine I brought was an ex display ( At John Lewis ) and the recipie book was lost . Although Kenwood have agred to send this to me what would you recommend as a first recipie to really show case what the Major can do?
I am cooking for 4 , we love fresh bread and cakes . We have a freezer to store any surplus.
I posted a very similar question a few weeks ago when I got my first one and there were some great ideas. In the end, I went for a recipie for wholemeal bread, which was just spectacular. Since then, I've made 3 loaves a week for my family of 4, bought no shop bread (even for sarnies) and my children are as likely to ask for a slice of bread as a snack than a cake or biscuit.
