Where to get resistance bands

I am looking for resistance bands (flat ones) like the type used for physiotherapy to do exercise. I would really like to have a look in a shop to test the strength (not online). I have been checking around but the only ones I can find are the tubular ones (with the handle) used in fitness. and/or in kits. I would like to be able to buy a single band of the strength of my choice. I am wondering if someone knows where I could get it ( I was even thinking of asking in a hospital or a pharmacy)

have you tried looking for therabands?
Boots sell them
or the company sells multipacks with different strengths not too expensively

John Lewis also sell 2 strength bands under their own brand in their fitness section0 -
Got some from Argos last year, also saw them in TK Maxx and sometimes in Sports Direct.

Thanks so much for all the replies, I will check the different options. I just had 1 resistance band, I think it is maximum strenght, (it lasted for ages, but it has now given up) I remember I bought it individually (while on holidays abroad), and it was cut to measure in the shop (really cheaply), but here it seems to be packed in different strenghts and by kits. I just wanted to replace 1 band that's all0
