Hi just wondering who you all managed to get a bank account with after bankcruptcy? i know it will have to be a basic account but is there anyone who would offer me a cash card that i could use to pay for shopping etc with rather than having to draw money out? thanks

well...there are numerous posts regards basic accounts, I personally applied for co-op cashminder account after being declared BR it's a basic account with a visa/electron cash card (can be used as chip & pin card in most outlets online etc), it seems to be the one account that people reccomend around here, barclays/natwest & nationwide all do basic accounts but most dont offer cashcards. the co-op seem so far to be very good I applied via telephone and everything went through in a few days so didnt wait too long
have a look here...
