The Starbucks £10 voucher for £5 deal....?

Am well aware there's another thread on the vouchers: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4604815 but it's basically just a slagging off of Starbucks & tbh, if you don't like it, then don't go. I do, so i well, do, and on that note....

So let's say i get this £10 voucher & my brew costs me £3, i'm wondering what happens with the remainder?

Do i get the £7 in cash change?
Do i get it in voucher form?
Or do they say sorry we don't give change from vouchers, like some other shops do, which would result in me paying £5 for a £3 brew?

You print the voucher and it's like a gift card so any 'change' stays on for next time. I used £9.30 the other day so 70p left on voucher. HTH

1st thing to do is post on the board specifically not designed for questions

Credit the gift card on your phone in passbook.

Download the Starbucks app and follow the instructions to add your gift card it'll then appear in your passbook.

I have the Starbucks app on my iPhone. Does the £10 just end up on there then? Not bad if it does.

Then I wouldnt get to show you yet another existing thread on the subject, while you were asking yet more questions

And that would be perfectly fine.

And this thread, about vouchers that don't last forever, doesn't belong in a grab it while you can forum does it not? Despite the fact the deal has an expiry date.
    I disagree.
It doesn't belong in a vouchers forum does it not? Despite it actually being a voucher.
    I disagree.

One thing i hope we can agree on though, is that ever since you very first started replying to my posts/threads, you've damn nearly always came in with an attitude (that bit you wont agree with, but such is life), so on that note, i think this is the best course of action....

Yes at some point in the future you might actually post a helpful response to me & i'd now miss out on it, but i'm willing to take my chances that you'll just maintain as you have been. I'd suggest you do the same as me here. I'd prefer it.

Well i've paid up & loaded it to my Starbucks app on my iPhone.

A bit annoying like, but it's registered as a separate £10. So i have a card on there for £10 & i have an existing £14.80 on there.

Is there a way of merging this so i have one lump of £24.80 on there?
