EXPIRED Energizer Ultra Plus D

Hi all,

I was after some batteries for a torch and stumbled across this on amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Energizer-Ultra-Plus-12-packs/dp/B000I2K93S/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t

not sure whether to go for it or not, seems a bit to good to be true, what does everyone else think, fake or not, if its genuine then its defiantly a bargain

Thanks

Don't bother they had this last time on the c size batteries and those that ordered were only sent 2, and this was direct from amazon.

    RP: £51.48
    Price: £3.50 (£1.75 / Battery)
    You Save: £47.98 (93%)
This suggests it is a pack of 2 only. Otherwise it would be a lot less per battery

But then who would pay £51.48 for 2 batteries? And why would they lie when I emailed them about it when they know amazon monitor it, will have to wait and see what arrives, if its only 2 then its in line with the normal price anyway

    Yep 2 for me too

I put in a query and got a prompt reply from the seller stating that it was for 2 batteries only and they would offer me a reduction on the one they sent, but didn't say how much

    "HI

We sincerely apologies for the error, this is in fact a listing of 2

Apologies can we offer some discount on these?

    thanks."
