Could anyone please give me an idea as to how much should be deducted PAYE for tax and NI for the following 2 amounts?
Standard (not high rate) taxpayer.
£690
£685
Thanks in advance if anyone can help.

Assuming those figures are a monthly wage, tax & NI as follows:
690
Tax: 0
NI: 5.32
685
Tax: 0
NI: 4.72
This is based on a standard tax code of 944L and the assumption that no other income is earned. If your tax code is different to this the figures will be wrong. What's your tax code? You had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -

I apologise, I should have been clearer. Each of those figures is for one week.
Same tax code as you used.Herman - MP for all!

An assumption has also been made that the earnings for the previous weeks back to 5 April 2013 have been either in case 1 averaging £690 or in case 2 £685. If any larger amounts ie bonus have been paid then it will alter the figures.
Best to post the actual cumulative earnings up to the week in questionThe only thing that is constant is change.0 -
Ah, well in that case:
690
Tax: 102 p/week or 440 p/month
NI: 65 p/week or 281 p/month
685
Tax: 100 p/week or 435 p/month
NI: 64 p/week or 278 p/monthYou had me at your proper use of "you're".0 -

Thanks, that's in line with the figures I have here.
Appreciate everyone's help, thank you.Herman - MP for all!
