Court Action

I wonder if anyone can help please?
My ex has had his bank account frozen by the CSA for non-payment.
He is a tad upset.
He has told our daughter that he will go to court over it (I believe he has 28 days to respond), but my question is does he have to pay to go to court, or is it just part of the process or if he can provide "evidence" can he get legal aid?
Thank you.

Thank you. Hopefully he will have to pay - which will put him off.0 -
He probably means he'll put in an appeal against decisions arrears etc then may go to court but prob be deferred anyway then ho to tribunal to decide outcome will be a long drawn out process of years not months! We know from being miscalculated by Csa & having action taken against us regarding arrears which turned out to b incorrect, & this is the action we took to prove our innocence - successfully but it takes years either way don't expect a speedy solution to this!0

This sounds like a Lump Sum Deduction Order.
Execution can't be held up by an appeal against the assessment.0
