First market research group last night - amazing!!

Has anyone ever taken part in paid market research before. I was reading the MSE Newsletter and Martin recommended a company called Research Opinions. I signed up a few weeks ago and had my first group last night, I got £75 for 2.5 hours! WHY have I never heard about this before?!!! :money::j:T

Does anyone know how often you're allowed to take part in focus groups? I've been told conflicting arguments!

I think its no more than one every three months, which is four a year.

Ahh right, so I wouldn't be able to do one every week then?

Usually the companies don't like you to have done more than one a year. I've done 3 in 5 months this year. Last one was £100 in home. I often fib about how long since I've done one and never go to the same place more than once a year.

the key is to sign up for as many reaearch companies as you can most of them want you to do a focus group no more than every 6 months, ive done quite a few they usually give you coffee coke and snacks:T, the best one was when i got paid 25 pounds for 15 min:D

Sorry, I've been away on holiday so only had a chance to reply, thanks guys!!

I'll keep an eye out for more focus group companies. My husband has just taken part in one for Research Opinions and got £75 for it and this morning he had a call to say there was going to be a follow up session which he was going to get another £75!!!

So he will have made £150 for 4 hours work in two weeks, so damn lucky!

I've signed up to Saros as well on the advice of people here but heard nothing from them think Research Opinions is the way to go.

I am now looking at research groups and last week I had a focus group in Central London so thanks for the tips here and inspiring me to look.
