Help with recent contact with csa

Options
Hi,

I have been paying maintenance for my 3 boys for the last 4 years straight to my ex after she requested the csa not to be involved. Things weren't great as I got threatened with not being able to see my boys if I didn't pay for extra things I didn't mind so much as I was living with my parents and had money to spare. Things changed a couple of years ago when I got my own home and met someone who I married last year.

My ex has now got the csa involved again which is fine but they have asked me to supply wage slips from the start of the year when they contacted me recently.

Will my assessment start from now or when my ex contacted them.

Thank you for any help

You say 'CSA involved again' so have they been involved previously?

If this is the first time they have been involved then the assessment will start from when the CSA made contact with you.

If they have been involved previously and you case was never officially closed, then a whole other ballgame.
