AQA Application Form - HELP!!!

Hi - i'm in the middle of completing my AQA application form and have come to the type of question i hate!

"Tell us why you would make a good AQA researcher"

I know in my head why I would be good - I'm a little bit OCD/Autistic and love messing about on the internet, finding out all sorts of bizarre information,
But how do I make that sound better!?!

:rotfl:

I would break it into two paragraphs.

In the first one, do a couple of sentences that say how much you like using the internet to research and spend a great deal of time online generally and that because you use the internet so much you find it easy to find out information (because you are 'internet savvy') and you know how to search for whatever you are looking for.

In the second, say something like you enjoy searching for unusual information and odd facts and figures. Maybe include an example of a time you needed to find something out.

When I did mine, I put in that people I work with were always asking me to find stuff on the internet for them (cheapest prices, holidays, answers to quiz questions on the radio) which is one of the reasons I thought I would make a good researcher.

    HTH a bit!

  • at the least, dont let them know there is a "type of question you hate" - you do know what the job entails, right?! ;)

best of luck with the application, seems like a fun thing to do :)
