Full and Final Settlements

Options
Hi everyone,

I have 3 debts with DCA's that are very old and are no longer showing on my credit file or affecting my credit rating, my credit rating is now gleeming and I want to keep it that way.

I am paying regular payments to the 3 DCA's and am now in a position to offer them F&F settlements.

My question is, by doing this will anything be flagged in anyway to affect my rating? I obviously won't be able to see any changes on my file so I presume it wont have a detrimental affect?

If someone could clarify, that would be great.

Many thanks in advance

    Presumably they all defaulted?
They say for 6 years from default, paid or not, then vanish for good. Not true if a CCJ is granted.

Keep an eye on your credit file though as some do reappear when they shouldn't.

If they were still on your file they would have shown partial settlement if you pay less than the full balance. Doesn't apply to you though.

Make sure you get the offers in writing and keep them.
