Full House Magazine Is Closing Down

Nanto3girls mentioned the other day she had heard Full House was closing down. I've had a look on their Facebook page before and they have confirmed the rumour is true. The last issue will be Issue 23 published 23rd May.

had some lovely wins from them, great mag, great stories & the staff/editor were always very helpful & great fun to know

I always thought it was a popular mag its been going a while now hasn't it. I was shocked about More mag as well that's been going years. I hope all the other mags are going to be ok, as we need competitions to win

It closed last month gerimc, they said on FB due to economic conditions. I guess in a few years time all the mags will probably end up digital.

I was reading an article in one of the weekend papers that said so many magazines have closed down recently, especially ones aimed at teens, due to them accessing more content on the internet rather than paying for print copies. I suppose it's a sign of the times

The internet availability of content does play a big part, but I think the problem is that if they can't maintain a certain readership total, the owners are more likely to chop the non-profitable ones to concentrate resources on the magazines that are still bringing in a profit.
