Santander mortgage porting

May be a silly question and I am perhaps worrying about nothing but any information from people who have been through this would be appreciated. We applied to port our existing Santander mortgage and borrow an additional £65000 through the mortgage advisor in branch at the beginning of April, filled in all the paper work and produced passports and 3 months wage slips. The mortgage offer took less than a week to come through. We are about to exchange in the next couple of weeks with a completion date at start of July. My concern is the mortgage advisor never asked to see bank statements or proof of savings which seems very odd. Is this standard for mortgage porting?and could we find ourselves having to produce things after exchange? Which may then put completion on agreed date at risk. Hope this makes sense.

Status requirements normally depend on credit score and loan to value. 90% and a low score probably means you'd be asked for everything.

60% and a high score, you may be asked for a single payslip and that's it.

Thanks, we have 85% loan to value and a high credit score, hopefully this is ok.
