Hi everyone,
Me and my partner are looking into getting a mortgage. Who is the best to go to?
We also have a business and we think that it may help towards how much we get. Has anyone done this before as i don't know how to go about it. Should my partner pay himself more to get a higher loan?
please help
thanks
Jane

Suggest you speak to a local mortgage broker. Who can look at your circumstances in detail and advise you accordingly.0

Lenders typically ask for evidence of the last three years' net profit for the self-employed or accounts for a limited company.
You can't pay yourself more for a few weeks to get a bigger mortgage.
As my Mum used to say, "I didn't come down the Ship Canal* yesterday" and neither did mortgage lenders.

My mum used to just say do i look stupid.... i was always too scared to answer the question honestly hahaha
Speak to a broker, this might be possible but you will need evidence of how the business has done usually for a minimum of 18 months but maybe 2-3 years and you would also need to be declaring any income.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
