I wanna New Washing Machine <53cm depth

Hi.
Can anyone help, as I am going bog-eyed looking for this!
Need a New Washing Machine, at least 5.5kg capacity drum,
but must not exceed 53cm in depth!
I have 'found' a couple on various internet sites, but upon checking other sites, there is differring information given for the depth!?!

Hotpoint HVL211P , Servis M6601....?

Any advice would be greatly rec'd!
(if I've posted on the wrong board, could someone help as to 'where' I should be posting?!)

Doesn't your hotpoint one exced your dimensions?

Also consider John Lewis own brand. Order off line, get some quidco cash back and you will also get a free 3 yr guarantee (spelling) have had mine for 3 months and its brill.......

There aren't many 53cm deep WMs.

Which? WM Report 05/2007 lists just 3:

- Indesit WI 121 £195 5kg wxhxd 60x84x53
"Good cleaning and rinsing but high running costs and noisy"

- Smeg WMF 16 AX £398 5kg 60x85x53
or
- Smeg WMF 16 BA £525 5kg 60x85x53
"Good cotton wash and spin drying but poor rinsing and noisy"

The Hotpoint one is within my dimensions if you look at Argos, and a couple of other sites...(Pricerunner), but upon looking at it on some more sites,
the dimensions are larger? I don't know which to believe?

Will have a look at John Lewis now, but can you tell me if yours is less than 53cm depth, and what model it is please?

Hi, and thanks for the info! They are all 5kg though, and really wanted something slightly larger! (2 young & dirty children, and 1 old and dirty husband!)

Re the above. Just been to Makro, and 'viewed' the Hotpoint one, with the Manual stating Depth 525mm!
Argos are doing it £20 cheaper, so will order from there! Only 5.5kg, but think this might be the best we are going to get!
