I came across A Matter of Theft by Antal Kovacs on free offer on Kindle today. Looks like a classy crime thriller - good for John Grisham fans.
Late one night a painting is stolen from a luxurious mansion block in Rome.
Left in its place is a piece of white coral.
The thief is a a man named Zak Asford.
A master thief with many aliases, he has already decided this job will be his last.
But when he collects payment, there is an unusual proposal.
The deal?
To steal a set of priceless paintings in Hungary and smuggle them out of the country.
His employer claims the paintings are his - and Zak is tempted back into the business for one last heist.
But this is a game far more dangerous than any he has played before.
And it soon becomes far more than just 'A Matter Of Theft'?
'A Matter of Theft' is a gripping mystery story that is perfect for fans of writers ranging from Patricia Highsmith to Elizabeth George.
'A brilliantly woven tale of deception and larceny.' - Tom Kasey, best-selling author of 'The Dante Conspiracy.'
