Could you get a business loan guaranteed against your home?
    I think....
  • Hello. Thanks for advice. I managed to get a business loan in the end and will wait to see situation next year when remortgage has to happen.

Good to see that it worked out. It makes me smile when someone has a short-term problem, certain people come up with a long-term solution like downsizing. This type of advice seems to be rooted in envy rather than being impartial.

It's also amusing how total strangers with no knowledge of you or your house, or indeed geographical location, start telling you that your house can't possibly be worth £X and is actually worth £Y. Brilliant. :)
