freezing beans advice please

hi, I read a thread where the poster soaked kidney beans etc and froze them in portions - much cheaper than buying cans.
I've had a look at the instructions on my packet - it says soak for 8 hours and boil for at least 10 mins before putting in the slow cooker.
If I do this, then freeze, then thawto make a meal with them.....can I refreeze any meal portions left over, as this would be freezing/thawing them twice. I've got myself very confused!!

I never use dried kidney beans, always tinned, but know that you do have to boil them for 10 minutes first. I would have thought that just boiling them for 10 minutes and then freezing them, you could cook them after that.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

Was that me?
I have frozen mine in batches. i then made a chili and put a portion of kidney beans in. I have refrozen a portion so of this chili.
I have to be honest and didn't pay attention to the fact that I'd frozen them twice. It doesn't bother me though.
The toxins that you remove by soaking/boiling are gone by then and I'm prepared to risk the double freezing.0
